The best way to create the most epic party is to plan ahead. Not only will you have more options as to what you can do, but it will also lessen the stress on you as a parent; it will allow more kiddos to come celebrate your child’s special day.
ASK YOUR CHILD WHAT THEY WANT
We are sure that you’ve already asked your child what they would like to do for their birthday or they have already excitedly and repeatedly told you their ideas. But if they haven’t told you or you haven’t asked, be sure to take a moment to. Their idea of a perfect party might even be different from what you thought.
SEND OUT INVITES & CONFIRM
No matter who you are, everyone is busy. To make sure your child has a full party full of friends ready to have fun, we suggest sending out invites with the details as soon as possible. We also suggest that you request your invitees (or their parents) RSVP as soon as possible or by a certain date. A week or a few days before the event, we also suggest that you send out a reminder and confirm your guest list.
DON’T FORGET THE FOOD
Also, don’t forget to think about food! We suggest serving something like pizza and having snacks available as well. It’s easy for kids to get hungry after hours of playing hard in bounce houses. Be sure to plan on having water and other drinks, as well as the all-important birthday cake or another special dessert — cookies, ice cream, donuts, or pie.
DON’T STRESS
It’s easy to feel stressed when you want your child to have a good time or when you’re not sure how many kiddos will make it to your child’s party, but do your best not to stress.
